1. LS126A UV Light Meter

2. LS127C Integrated UV Light Meter

HOW TO USE CORRECTLY & EFFECTIVELY

To take advantage of the capabilities of the LS126A / LS126C / LS127C models, you should apply:

1. Select the correct model/probe corresponding to the target wavelength

– LED UV (UVA): use LS126A

– UVC (254 nm): use LS126C or LS127C

2. Calibration / zero

– Completely turn off the environmental UV source before measuring the baseline zero

– If the probe/host supports multi-point calibration, perform calibration according to the instructions

3. Position the probe at the correct distance & direction of measurement

– With the UVC lamp, use a 1 m hook to hang the probe exactly 1 m from the lamp (sterilization measurement standard).

– Probe placed perpendicular to the projection wire, avoid tilt

4. Multi-point measurement / accumulation time

– For coating/LED applications: measure multiple surface locations for uniform assessment

– With UVC lamps: allow energy accumulation time to determine disinfection efficiency

5. Avoid extraneous light & interference

– Shield the measurement environment from other UV light (sun, fluorescent lamps)

– Avoid placing the probe in high current / electromagnetic interference areas
