OVERVIEW OF LINSHANG GLASS THICKNESS GAUGE:

Linshang LS200, LS201 glass thickness gauge is used in the fields of mechanics, manufacturing and quality control (QC/QA) as follows:

📌 1. In mechanical engineering - structural installation

• Steel - aluminum glass structure: when manufacturing windows, glass walls, building facades (curtain walls), mechanical engineers and installers need to know exactly the figures about :

-       Thickness of each glass panel.

-       Thickness of the air gap in the double-glazed glass.

• The measuring machine helps to accurately control technical parameters, ensuring that aluminum frames, gaskets, accessories (hinges, pins, clamps) are selected for the correct load and size.

📌 2. In the manufacturing of mechanical products using glass

-       Industrial machinery with observation windows: for example in boilers, heat chambers, drying ovens... → need to check the correct thickness of tempered glass to ensure safety.

-       Precision mechanical equipment (testing machines, measuring machines with observation chambers): ensure the glass thickness is sufficient to prevent deformation and does not affect the measurement.

• Cars, specialized vehicles: check the installed windshield and door glass to confirm that the laminated glass meets safety standards.

• Check input materials: verify the glass parameters given by the supplier (5mm, 8mm, 10mm thick, laminated, double glazing...).

• Check finished products:

-       Measure the glass installed in the door frame, machine frame, partition → ensure the customer receives the correct product.

-       Ensure soundproofing, heat insulation, and load-bearing standards according to the contract.

• Ensure traceability & quality records (QC records): when inspecting, the measurement results can be saved directly at the site, with photos of the measurement location.

MAIN MODELS OF LINSHANG GLASS THICKNESS MEASURING MACHINE:

Linshang currently provides two popular models for measuring glass thickness as follows:

• LS200 – Laser / optical Glass Thickness Meter: glass thickness measuring machine using the principle of laser / light reflection, used to measure single-layer glass, laminated glass, double / triple glazing and the thickness of the air gap between the glass.

• LS201 – Digital Glass Thickness Meter: digital version, works on the principle of optical reflection, specializes in measuring laminated glass, laminated glass and double-glazed glass; can simultaneously measure the thickness of layers and air gap.
