TEST PRINCIPLE

GT-MB04 device is structured with a standard measuring slot of 0.040 × 0.045 inches and a sensor head with a spring of each level. The test procedure is as follows:

1. Insert the suspected sharp point into the slot of the device.

2. The sharp point is inserted into the 0.015 inch deep hole of the sensor head.

3. If the point is sharp enough to overcome the 0.5 pound elastic force and move the sensor by 0.005 inch → it is identified as a dangerous sharp point.

This measuring principle ensures high accuracy and is fully compliant with international standards.
